“And if that's a problem for you, kill me now.” 🩸 This movies touches on the importance of familial, and musical relationships. While incorporating music and a connection to the characters with the audience perfectly.  Honestly, pre seeing this film, I had high expectations. I lowered them down a bit so I wouldn’t be biased, but biased or not this film was incredible. It touched on such a huge cultural aspect that, although I cannot properly relate with it, made me so grateful for this film.  I think the only other real vampire flick I’ve ever seen, is twilight - boy my understanding of vampires is different now. But in the best way possible. Who the hell decided to keep the fact that vampires need to be invited in a secret from me?!? Hello??? Overall, this film was not only stunning, but also important. I cared about all the characters (except the bad ones), and the stakes (no pun intended) were incorporated beautifully. And though I’m not a hard marker, I do believe this movie deserves ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - and I don’t think I could think otherwise.
