About Time
I’m a sucker for this message so take my rating with a grain of salt, but wow what a heartwarming, creative, well-executed film. I’m shocked I haven’t heard more about this incredible piece of art.
The movie especially shines in how it handles time travel, toeing a line between realism and not taking itself too seriously. At the beginning I was terrified every time Tim went back in time that something drastic and unreversible would happen when he gets back to the present, but as dad says “we don’t really worry about the butterfly effect”. Except when it does matter - having a child. This one rule sets up such a beautiful story that lets the audience suspend disbelief that this would be the only thing that really changes.
Beside this, the acting was great, the film was funny, and I just really enjoyed this watch. Would recommend. Would watch again.
