Interstellar
A film, no matter its minor flaws, I will always appreciate as it will forever be the first great film I saw.
Fantastic in every sense. An emotional rollercoaster that forces you to think as hard as possible constantly throughout, bending time and space, literally, the Christopher Nolan way. Aesthetically speaking, it’s absolutely stunning especially Millers Planet and planet Mann. The way the story wraps itself up in the last 20 minutes is unbelievable, leaving you in awe as Cooper explores the Tesseract alone and allows Murph to work everything out.
Matthew McConaughey gives the standout performance in this, giving us an abundance of inspiring and emotional moments throughout. The same can’t really be sad for Anne Hathaway, who I think is relatively poor at times, but nothing that takes away from the brilliance of the film.
Casey Affleck being cast as an older version of Timothee Chamalet is great casting.
