okay, i don’t know how to start this, but this series genuinely caught me off guard, in the best way possible. you feel like you're intruding on someone’s actual life, not watching a scripted show. there’s this stillness in how it tells the story, like it trusts you to feel things without being told what to feel. and when Eddie said, "sorry son, I should've done better" oh God, i almost lost it. and when he kissed the bear, its like him saying goodbye to Jamie's innocence and accepting the fact that he's not their innocent little boy anymore. this is one of the most honest things ive watched in a long time.
