Bird
one of those films that reminds you how much power there is in stillness. Arnold captures life in fragments, awkward, tender, and makes it feel cinematic without losing its truth. the handheld camerawork and the pacing is just perfect
every moment feels observed, not constructed. there’s so much care in the way it sees people, flawed, quiet, but full of feeling.
also, selfishly wish there was a King Krule track tucked in there somewhere. would’ve been an unreal fit.
a film i'll be thinking about for a long time.
