Heat

It’s just soooooo good.  You could argue that the first half drags quite a bit, and while that’s not entirely untrue, the payoff as everything comes crashing down for these characters is so so worth it once we really care for each and every one of them to some extent.  Add in Mann at his visual peak, a cast that just oozes cool, and an ending so cathartic that, at this point, I’d only ever expect Mann to deliver it.  However, I’m tempted to knock it down half a star next time someone calls this a fucking action film! 10 minutes do not define a 3 hour film! Sort yourselves out 😭
