Far from the beauty and perfection of Sunrise, but still a wonderful movie about life and love. I think I just didn't like how much more sad this was. The first movie was so full of this wholesome joy and hope and this one was just depressing. And of course there was the underlying optimism, but something about this sadness was just... not quite right, I didn't like it, because it made me too sad
