HAPPY ONE YEAR TO TERRIFIER 3!!!
(I watched this on October 10th last year so I had to rewatch it again! Also I started the movie at 11pm on October 10th so that’s why it says October 11th)
Omg my latest review on this movie was stupid asf. I fuck with this movie hard. The Christmas aesthetic feels nostalgic, like the Christmas vibes are amazing. The sound track is also so good! The opening scene is so memorable like omg, the mom knew how to act! Her screams were horrifying (in a good way). The only thing I hate about this movie is how little Sienna (the main character) screen time is. I feel like this movie should’ve been more focused of her, also for a 2 hours i feel like we should’ve at least got more lore. I feel like they should’ve just given a few more hints or dialogue about arts past but I’m fine with what I got.
Kills: i hate how the kills got so hyped for the amount of ‘gore’ because it’s mostly the same from the past 2 movies. The kills in this movie were definitely more hardcore, like the tube kill. I hated the tube kill because it was so disturbing, like it was the first thing in the whole terrifier franchise that disturbed me. I think this movie was mainly made to show off kills, because literally the whole movie is just art killing, and after a while of it, it just gets boring. I still love the practical effects, like you could talk all the shit you want about these movies but at least the kills aren’t cheap cgi blood splatters with cgi people.
overall it’s a pretty fun Christmas slasher!
