Andrei Rublev
This is my favourite film made by my favourite filmmaker, and I don't even want to try and review not only this but any of Andrei Tarkovsky's art, so I'll talk about how he and his films have impacted me personally instead. Tarkovsky has not only changed me as a film fan, but he's also changed me as a person. Admittedly, after going through his filmography for the first time, I didn’t really love any of his films outside of stalker and Solaris, but now each and every time I watch any of his seven films, it blows my mind how far ahead of every other filmmaker he was and still is. Tarkovsky taught me that films are not just entertainment they are a high art form. Films are about how they make you feel over everything else.
