Flushed Away
“Is It a bird, is it a plane, is that guy wearing my underpants!’
This was peak comedy for 6 year old Blake I quoted this for the majority of my childhood.
This is by far the film I’ve watched the most times so how could I not give it 5 stars.
The plot is average but do I care? No.
The rest of the film is unironically quite decent. It’s funny, culturally relevant and memorable.
The cast is insane. I always had to hide my love for Rita but with the retrospect of knowing that’s Kate winslet I can finally acknowledge my crush on an animated rat. Hugh Jackman and Ian Mckellen being in this were also crazy for me to find out:
On a serious note it’s cool af that finding these forgotten movies on letterboxd brings back so much of my childhood. When the other kids at school won’t share their sweets I always know Roddy the rat is there for me.
