Interstellar

100 This is Nolan’s masterpiece. It’s one of the most beautiful films with such high quality shots throughout that, alongside the close attention to detail and accurate physics, creates an insane sense of realism.  The sound design is as good as anything I’ve ever heard; there are so many intricacies to the score.  Direcrorially it’s just 10/10. The casting and acting also. McConoghaughey puts in such a heart wrenching performance. This was the first film in such a long time that could have made me cry.  At first I was a little skeptical about how the ending was coming together but then it was just executed to perfection.  This is as close to perfect as a film can get, it’s on a par with greats like the Godfather.
