Brokeback Mountain
i saw a video the other day of a man and his boyfriend who had gotten assaulted in their home for expressing their love for one another and all the comments were praising the assaulters. a movie made two decades ago about a story that takes place in the 60s and we’re merely just moving backwards in the present. why is it so wrong to have love for one another? isn’t that the whole point of what it means to be human? if only the people, whose stories mirrors Jack and Ennis’, didn’t have to live in the world we live in right now. this movie wouldn’t have been made and somewhere, Jack and Ennis would be living in a nice ranch of their own.
