Mission: Impossible - Fallout
This is one of the most exciting movies I’ve ever seen. The halo jump, the bathroom fight, the rooftop run, the motorcycle chase, and the insane last 30 minutes. Even outside of the stunts it’s exciting, the twists and turns the plot has keep going. Once one twist seems basic and predictable another one immediately happens that catches you off guard in the best way(that reveal scene that happens underground is the perfect example).
HENRY CAVILL!!!! Fire ass performance and one of my favorite characters in the entire series. Everyone is great. As usual Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Rebecca Ferguson, & Sean Harris are fantastic. The new actors that this movie brings to the series kill it as well. Angela Basset has as powerful of a presence as usual, while Vanessa Kirby is also great and has me really excited for her performance in fantastic four. I know Tom cruise is a… controversial person outside of movies to say the least but man he is an actual legend for the shit he does in this series. Like it’s just ridiculously awesome in every way. The soundtrack is also noticeably great in this movie too.
It’s just incredible man. This is up there with fury road, across the spiderverse, infinity war, LOTR return of the king, & Kung Fu Panda 2 for the best action movies I’ve seen this century, so peak.
