Resurrection
My friend Craig compared this to On a Winter’s Night but for film, which seemed apt. Cinema as mythology through a cycle of period vignettes, where the language of film as a whole is really the primary subject. Not a movie, but a meta-movie - cinema reflected in a shattered mirror. Astoundingly beautiful, technically masterful, weird and somewhat inscrutable. I bet Lynch would have loved this.
