Twinless
Crazy! Cinema!
Look I know I've probably overated it because I'm hyper after seeing the screening. I didn't speak out loud until 1600pm today. But I did call my dad on the way to the cinema, he said it sounded like I was being chased by zombies. That' London Black friar's at rush hour baby!
This was a preview screening by MASSIVE and it was £7.50 and they gave me stickers. No where springs to mind but I'll have to try and find a home for my "I ❤️ Dylan O'Brien" sticker. Shout out to them because it was fun and not intimidating to go by myself, which I'm trying to get better at.
ON TO THE FILM! Genuinely worth going with no prior knowledge I reckon so if you think you may watch maybe stop reading now??
Or if you don't care then by all means. I thought this film was really good. We were laughing we were gasping we were crying we were cringing. It was so funny. Perfect to watch in the cinema or with a group. I think people my age are starting to write films now because it was giving similar humour to Rachel Sennot's I love LA which I think must be similar age range?
I think I heard some rumours about Dylan O'Brien being good in this. He absolutely was. Phenomenal. I was thinking on the tube back how his portrayal of the two twins actually spoke a lot to the socialisation of men, and the contrasts between straight and gay lived experiences. And it spoke to my relationships with the straight men in my life. Bisou bisou boys x
"And did he play both twins? They looked different to me"
"Girl you have been tricked by a 1950s spy moustache"
