The Matrix

I literally walked out in tears from the sheer awe of seeing this in theaters. I'm in shock and I've seen this film a million times. I'll start by saying this movie does get a bit too much credit. Yes, it popularized a lot of things that would go on to become action tropes BUT Blade did almost all of them first. To varying to degrees of effectiveness of course I don't know, with movies like this I often just find it ridiculous to go on about what makes it great. It's all been said a billion times. The aesthetic is so goddamn sick. The choice of using Wake Up by RATM at the end is perfect. The action is obviously phenomenal. It's The Matrix Cinema.
