Season 1 rewatching this just reminded me how ridiculously entertaining it is. the stakes make no sense, everyone’s completely unhinged, and that’s exactly the charm. yumeko’s manic grin still hits, and the show leans so hard into its own absurdity it’s admirable. it’s messy, it’s loud, it’s trashy but damn if it isn’t fun all over again.
