The Boy

The first part of the show like 30 minutes or so, the thriller and suspense of the story is very good. The writers also made the mystery of the doll very well as it made me guess of what the story is. I knew it was going to be bad but not this bad. Overall in terms of mystery, suspense and thriller it’s really good. I think it was like the last 15-20 of the show was when the truth was revealed. The chasing scene felt like ok i guess. But I was pretty Malcolm was going to die though. I like the open ending which shows that Brahms was alive and piecing back together the doll. Like who will his next victim be. Too many horror cliche movies I saw here. Seriously the bath scene where her stuff mysteriously disappeared but her towel literally stayed on. Trauma bonding of what they saw. Anyways a real favourite scene of mine was the 180 switch when Greta thought the boy was alive and actually did the rules and the showing of the real brahms. Scary scene but it was kind of cool and how he murdered Cole. Typical female lead and male lead. It’s really the story that carried the characters. I’m still confused by how brahm’s parents died like why did they put a stone in their pocket. They probably knew that their son was alive and not really right in the head which explains why they had the 8 year old brahms portrait.
