Wonder Man
When we share our pain, our grief, our joy, the audience, less alone in theirs. We're all less alone.
Easily the most I've enjoyed an MCU project since *Iron Man 3.

As someone who read Waid, Ewing and Zub's Avengers: No Surrender (which happened to feature one Simon Williams) and also Tom King's run on Vision that mentions him semi-frequently despite never once depicting him, I guess you could call me a Wonder Man expert. Never mind that I forgot he could fly until the last episode.
Very fun! Tight, well paced 30 minute or less episodes, a compelling plot, and consistently great episodes. The first Marvel television show that I truly enjoyed all the way without being annoyed by weird writing choices, mishandled finales (here's looking at you, Wanda Maximoff), or general adaptation of something I like too much to bear the touching of (Billy Kaplan I still think about you I swear).
I enjoy it mostly because this is barely a superhero show and more a tasty piece of the wider world the MCU has built. It's by far the least Marvel project their "content" machine has put out. Why not make Doorman of the legendary Great Lakes Avengers into a washed up celebrity who runs with Josh Gad? If it means a GLA adaptation is imminent, I'm all for it. I mean, Mr. Immortal was in an episode of She-Hulk and Milana Vayntrub was supposed to play Squirrel Girl in that scrapped New Warriors show... It's all coming together, I swear!
I've always been of the opinion that Yahya Abdul-Mateen II should really be showing up everywhere. Not that he's a small fry or anything, but for a guy that good looking, that charming, and that good at acting, he is not nearly as big of a deal as he should be. He is an absolute star as Simon Williams, and while I don't think this character is gonna show up in Doomsday, they better do more with him in the future.
The indomitable Sir Ben Kingsley is just as fantastic as ever, and he's still putting way more into the character of Trevor Slattery than is needed of him. More points on the board for Iron Man 3 Nation!!! He has an infectious chemistry with Yahya that really elevates the show and reels you in more than anything else in it.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is in safe hands with Destin Cretton. Feige would do well to realise he's the most talented director currently buying into the Marvel Machine.
