Frankenstein
Mary Shelley's Frankenstein is my favorite book ever made and this adaptation is exactly what I wanted. It doesn't adapt the book 1:1 but I think it definitely cuts out some unwarranted parts and I loved the change with Elizabeth. Oscar Isaac gives such an incredible performance and this entire movie was just so beautiful to look at. This is most definitely the peak of Frankenstein movies and they should never try again because I am tired of seeing one of my favorite fictional characters be butchered in every single thing they are in. Guillermo Del Toro is an absolute genius and nailed all the important themes in the book to a tee. I am the number one Frankenstein fan nobody will ever take that from me.
thank you Mr. Laplante
