The Queen's Gambit
A limited series about a chess prodigy rising through the ranks of the chess scene set during the mid-20th century? I'm in.
Although there were a few missteps here and there with development of supporting characters and cliché tropes, I think this is one of the better TV shows that have come out this year, with such an elegant score by Carlos Rafael Rivera and unforgettable performance by Anya Taylor-Joy. I've only seen her in Split, and I can officially say that she convinced me to watch her other work after binging the hell out of this show. Time to go watch Emma.
