Devilman - Volume 3: Devilman ApocalypseLogan OConnor10.0· June 16, 2025FollowFucking insane. Skips some things that are definitely missed, but it also gives it this strange emptiness that kinda fits this ending. I also love the idea that Akira is walking away to probably go become Violence Jack. Speaking of, this reached Violence Jack levels of brutality, but without the sexual violence which is the thing that really bothered me about those movies. I think the Devilman world is one of my favorite fictional worlds ever at this point. I’ve given all three ova’s 5 stars, and after rewatching crybaby I’ll probably give that a 5 too. These characters are just so compelling to me and the style of it all is just so perfect, it feels so unbelievably “my thing” that it’s just crazy.CommentsSign in to react and join the conversation.Sign inGet the app
