Superman

this was monumental and quite literally operatic. proud to say that this is my superman and i was lucky enough to finally get to see this the day i returned home from my trip; it did not disappoint at all. james gunn is a true visionary, every detail from the sets, costuming, soundtrack, score, colour grading, casting was perfect. literally crafted as though it came straight from the pages of the comics. david corenswet and nicholas hoult have already imbedded themselves in their iconic roles. the message was so strong with this and given the current state of the world it was so refreshing to watch. i’m praying we get a sequel soon because i need more, until then i guess i’ll have to rewatch. i can’t fully express how much i loved this; all i can say is the dcu is going to be so great. 2025 ranked DCU ranked
