Tarkovsky creates something truly unique with Stalker. The cinematography is absolutely breathtaking, and the Zone feels like a place between reality and a dream. The film explores faith, desire, and what people truly want from life. I don’t think I have fully understood everything yet, but it left me thinking long after it ended. A beautiful and unforgettable experience. Surely one of the greatest pieces of cinema.
