Superman

FINALLY This is the type of movie you go out to see; the type of movie meant to transform you. I know the word of mouth about comic book films lately has been rough and I agree with most of it. The recent outings from both Marvel and DC have been shoveled out like that one episode of SpongeBob where King Neptune made a million Krabby Patties whereas SpongeBob only made one and the patties King Neptune made were lazy and disgusting but the one SpongeBob made was made with love, time, and attention; this film is that one Krabby Patty that SpongeBob made. James Gunn was locked in throughout the making of this film and it shows and hopefully this film will usher in a new wave of heroes meant to inspire kids around the world and allow us adults to realize the inner greatness within us all to shine through.  I need more time to catch all my thoughts on this film but this was special.  It wasn’t what I was expecting but I know I love it, I have to watch the film again in order to appreciate it more because I truly want to love the film for what it is versus what I thought it was going to be.
