Watching Singin’ in the Rain and Hello, Dolly! both for the first time before revisiting Wall•E for the first time all the way threw since I was a kid really helped me love this film more. Wall•E is Pixar at its most classic Hollywood; it’s a universal love story and completely different from Pixar’s other animated ventures and the most special looking back at it.
