WALL·E
In 2008 Disney came out with one of their best movies of all time, WALL-E, and it absolutely delivers. I absolutely adore this film, it has one of the best meanings, best characters, best plot, and best animation Disney has ever released. I want to start off with the plot, this plot is amazing and so interesting, I love the idea that human's destroy and pollute Earth so much that they leave and have robots like WALL-E do the cleaning. I like the lore with BNL, or Buy-N-Large, I specifically like how they follow "show don't tell." They lay out the facts for the audience throughout the movie but leave it to them to piece it together. I also like how the lore of the movie and the overarching story of the movie are separate, like the lore is there for the audience but they don't need to put it together to enjoy the movie, which I like. I love the pacing of this movie, it is very well paced and isn't to fast or slow, every moment seems necessary. I love the characters in this movie. WALL-E is such a lovable character and absolutely adorable, I love how much he cares and loves, it's so beautiful. EVE is an amazing character as well, I love her character arc throughout the movie and I think she compliments WALL-E so well. I love the additional characters as well like Captain B. McCrea or "The Captain", M-O, The Cockroach, and other supporting characters, this movie does a good job with making you love all of them. Additionally I love how the movie highlights WALL-E's change on people like John and Mary who realize the beauty of the Axiom when WALL-E accidentally shows them, or the keyboard robot where WALL-E shows him how to wave, and even Captain McCrea where WALL-E was a factor in him discovering the beauty of Earth, It's details like that that makes this movie so amazing and beautiful. I love the message of this movie, it's one of my favorite messages in any movie. I love the animation in this movie as well, it's crazy this came out in 2008 and looks so surreal, especially the montage where WALL-E and EVE go to the Axiom, such beautiful animation. I lastly love the love story with WALL-E and EVE in this movie, it reminds me of me and my amazing girlfriend and brings such a warm feeling to my heart. Overall, this is an amazing movie and there's truly no other like it.
