Footloose

After years of going back and forth deciding which footloose is my favorite, I have to say it is the remake. I love the original (who doesn’t love Kevin Bacon and that jock dude) but this one is just soooo good. The way they adapted the no music and dancing rule in modern day, the way Ren and Ariel bonded more before falling in love, THE FAKE ID COWBOY BAR SCENE! If I ever had to show someone a cinematic masterpiece I’m showing that scene. As far as remakes go, this is great.
