i loved that final sequence so much omg 😭 as someone who’s physically close to my family but not so much emotionally, i felt this movie deeply  this movie illustrates how the pursuit of being an artist influences how we maintain and pursue human relationships. when your livelihood involves interpreting and emulating human life, what gets sacrificed in the process? but at the core, humans can’t bear to stay distant forever. we’re social creatures, constantly trying to bridge the gaps in our relationships, especially with family. “someone said that praying, isn’t talking to God. it’s accepting one’s despair. it’s throwing yourself to the ground because that’s all we can do.”
