Dune: Part Two

Takes the first and gives it a pinch of humanity and a boatload of absolutely stunning visuals. Still doesn’t fix my problems with the first that being it feels largely impersonal and cold but I think that’s just the source material and not a movie problem so as an adaptation I guess it’s flawless but I still don’t think it’s ever grabbed me emotionally. I love the world I love the aesthetics. Everything visually in this is just unbelievable. I just can’t find the heart of it. Also as an Austin butler hater this has made me put down my pitchfork and give him a chance in the future.
