Billy crystal just makes every movie better. Rare does a movie with such conceptual brilliance actually meet it in the script and this one really does. To take the idea of the monster in your closet and build a whole world around the other side of that door is great and to follow those up with two great lead characters and fill it all up with themes of fear and joy and love and boom you got a perfect movie. The early run from Pixar is one of the best any studio has ever had.
