Obi-Wan Kenobi

As many people before have and will say: there’s a movie that can be edited out of this and it’d probably work better. Disposable characters that leave your mind the second they leave the screen and some of the worst use of the volume to date. This falls victim to the worst thing a Star Wars thing can do which is that it just doesn’t matter. It’s playing the hits of a record I don’t even like that much. It’s just rehashing things in previous movies and shows and not even adding anything else to them. If you’re gonna have obi wan and Vader fight again at least give them a reason and a purpose for the fight. They’ve just fighting bc if they don’t fight fans will be mad. It just devalues the fight in a new hope idk. This is just boring d+ slop which is a shame bc it put everyone off the idea of Andor and Andor is the best thing this franchise has ever done. Side note: when I said I was doing every Star Wars thing I decided to include the Jedi fallen order games and I replayed the first one and man, good game. Cal is kind of just an avatar to project yourself onto so he’s a little bland but survivor makes him more of a character so that’s not even that big of a deal. Makes the Jedi mythos cool. Great supporting cast and a solid plot to push them through where the characters make choices! Actual fucking choices! Anyways fun lightsaber game is cool. 4/5 now I have to replay survivor before I can watch Andor. Actually like the next stretch of Jedi survivor to mando season 1 is basically all shit I like so that’s exciting. Edit: wanted to add more because I just played survivor and I plan on writing a lot for Andor and I don’t wanna put this there anyways good game! Takes everything from the first and makes it better. Cal and merrin are two of my favorite characters in the series. Everything with bode I think works mostly I remember the twist really kicking me in the balls for the first play through. Anyways if Dave filoni ever gets his grubby fucking paws on merrin or cal I will kill him.
