Inception

There is something so incredibly « safe » about the Nolan movies and inception falls perfectly within that category.Like if he was a delivery driver, he would be the type of person to take the most absolutely perfect route without any risks or mistakes possibly and you’ll already know that your package will be by your front doorstep in neat condition, not one scratch one it. I do appreciate Nolan movies don’t get me wrong but I think just like risk-takers more.Nolan is able to take great actors and make them ALL do great things, to be fair nobody really stood out to me during the movie performance wise, everybody was just « great ». I truly think his movies just come down to the liking of the concept of it all and I mean inception has a pretty unique one. Was it perfect? Not at all but was it satisfying and rewarding? You bet it. To be fair, I wish Nolan was more into making video games instead of movie because my god, he’s one of the most creative directors out there.
