Man, this cinematography in this movie is absolutely incredible. The way the camera pans in certain scenes just make it look outstanding. For a horror movie it’s quite tame, which is preferable over the use of jump scares. The characters were just top notch honestly the whole relationship between the two main characters was quite an interesting follow with the mix of slick detective work. They could’ve implemented the flashback scenes a little bit better, but overall, Sadako will go down as one of my favourite horror mascots. The 2002 American remake never stood a chance against the peak that is the original.
