« THE BEAUTY OF THE ORDINARY »
I really came to this movie expecting a lighthearted story about a band getting back together and just get back to jamming again but I ended that movie with such a heartbreak so big it will ache for the foreseeable future. Oh yes I absolutely did bawl my eyes out to this with no hesitation, there could’ve have been a more perfect time in my life to watch such a movie. Away from my childhood but right outside the front doorstep of adulthood. I look down to the ground and ask myself « what will my life truly offer to me? » but as for now I truly just strive for happiness, my best friends and my family, is all that’s holding this shell of myself from imploding , that’s is what I cherish. Being able to change the world is something we all might strive to achieve one day but is it truly worth it without true happiness. What or who do you truly do it for? That’s the real question. Thank you Inio Asano for showing such a beatiful point of view to such a world we, as humans, can barley understand ourselves.
