WALL·E

The animated successor to Brave New World in a way that was difficult for me to understand as a child. Growing up I always assumed the man theme was about taking care of the planet, and global warming because those were the problems around me at that time. But no, this film is focused on how large corporations fueled by greed will inevitably cause us to give up our free will for instant gratification, and the lose of the human experience. It’s an extreme dystopian set under the facade of a children’s film, warning us to always value connection over comfort.
