Lilo & Stitch

Initially when trying to get my mom to watch this film, she kept putting off because it’s animated, but I was so confident it was something she could enjoy. Luckily, today I caught her in a mood where she was willing to take a chance and I put on LILO and Stitch and she ended up loving it.  One of the many things in movies I think is so overlooked in its beauty is what’s in animated kids films. So many have the ability to give a child an awe-like wonder, while also having something for adults to enjoy at the same time. They have a job to portray an important theme for kids to digest like common knowledge, while also reintroducing those themes to adults in a way they hadn’t seen before. LILO and Stitch is one of those movies imo that are so beautiful because of that. I don’t think there will ever be a time I’d get sick of this movie.
