Interstellar

This movie is pretty fantastic in nearly every aspect. The only downside is it gets a little confusing post-black hole, but it doesn’t diminish the experience of the story. The cinematography for this movie is breathtaking. One of the most beautifully shot films of all time for sure. On top of the stunning cinematography, Hans Zimmer delivers arguably his best score of all time. The music really adds to the emotion the characters are going through. Suspense, tragedy, hope, etc. And that one song might just be the greatest in any movie due to its usage and emotional depth. Furthermore, every actor delivers a superb performance. Obviously Matthew McConaughey delivers probably his best performance along with great supporting performances from Anne Hathaway and Jessica Chastain. This movie generates a plethora of iconic and brilliant moments. Each main character was fleshed out really well. I’m glad the movie had a slow start in order to build up the relationships the characters had with each other. It added so much emotional depth to the latter half of the movie. This movie really is fantastic, the only downside to it being quite confusing, but other than that, excellence from Nolan. And you know what, the confusion only adds to the experience in my opinion.
