Jojo Rabbit

I had never heard of this movie before I watched and man, what a good movie. I saw the poster and I was thinking to myself ‘ah a movie about the effects of propaganda in Nazi Germany’. I mean I was right, but man oh man this movie surprised me. I wasn’t expecting a satirical comedy. While this was a satirical comedy, it had extremely dark elements, which brought back the tone. Again, this was in Nazi Germany, so it makes sense. But that ONE scene. It hurt me. I did not see it coming and the realization of what was happening tore me apart. This movie exceeded my expectations greatly. I really didn’t think I could enjoy a movie about propaganda during Nazi Germany, but here we are. Excellent movie.
