Waves
Love and Hate. A tale of two stories separated by the distinction between love and hate. There is so much hate in the world and the best thing we can do is turn that four letter word “Hate” into “Love”, another four letter word. Love upbuilds whereas hate tears down. Love is patient, love is kind. Love creates something that hate ultimately destroys. Each decision in this film is based on the concept of Love or hate. When any of the characters bases their decision out of hatred, it feels as if a wave is crashing down on not only them, but also us as the audience. Each wave in this film has the potential to destroy and obliterate the love that they have for each other. Each decision in the movie is a wave. Some waves are bigger than others, crashing down on us and carrying us further out into a sea of hatred, but it’s when we stand up to that hate and embrace it with love that we are able to stand firm in our ground against the waves of life. The rockiness and unsteadiness of life. Life can be unpredictable as waves are and the best we can do is try to be loving. Each wave in life can be born out of love or hate and each one can be bigger than the last. The best we can do is embrace each wave with love. We should all be better towards each other because in the end love conquers all.
