Sinners

To start Michael B. Jordan is truly breathtaking in this movie and plays two different characters expertly throughout. Wunmi Mosaka is similarly amazing throughout the whole movie and I loved her character.  The sets were fantastic, the soundtrack was damn near perfect (who could expect anything less from Ludwig Göransson). Original music was both weird and memorable (a great combo) There were some flaws towards the “climax” of the movie for me personally but following that it finds its feet again to stick the landing. The opening scene also doesn’t work for me and that type of opening rarely does
