I begged my Mom to get me to rent this when I was like 11. This shit changed my life lowkey. Theres something so intriguing about this movie that I don’t think I can put my finger on. I think its an example of a movie coming out a specific time and place. This came out when social media was just about to jump start and I think this movie was one of the “goals” for someone in my generation. The editing, the flare, the jokes, and just overall mood of the film perfectly matches my generation and I cant describe it but its true. I unironically believe it to be a period piece.
