X-Men

Slight detour from the MCU. I actually can’t believe this is my first time watching this film, or any of the X-Men franchise for that matter. This movie was just okay. I really enjoyed it as an introduction though because most of my X-Men knowledge has come from just seeing these characters in passing, this movie gave me a clear understanding of the basics I didn’t know going in. I obviously knew the notable characters by name, but I had no real understanding of their backstories or relationships. This movie did a great job establishing all of that without making it feel overwhelming. Definitely looking forward to catching up on the rest of the franchise.
