𓏴 ࣪ story & plot 🎬 ⠀⠀ To be honest I still don't know what's going on.. (see my part one review) but at least now I know he's severely mentally ill. Maybe psychosis? Untreated something definitely. Childhood trauma. Unloved. Sara was a really nice change. I am not really satisfied with the ending. BECUASE 2HAT HAPPENED? WHATS GOIJG ON WITH HIM? WHY?? Is he alive and filming Sara? How did he find her? ♰⠀ 𓈒 ⠀ cinematography & visuals ✙ Same style as the first movie so I have nothing new to say! Other than this one being filmed around 2017 so they probably had better camera equipment available. ( 🍿 ) —— sounds & music I think there wasn't any music again? At least not important music. So the same bland scene. Whatever. I think thats just a personal choice and I just don't like that type of movie. Not that bad. ࣪ ۫𓂅 directing & pacing . ⟢ It was kinda slow and felt a tiny bit repetitive? But maybe that's also just an artistic choice from the directors and I just don't understand how it's supposed to come across as. Bit it's better than the last movie in my opinion. Or it doesn't seem as slow because I preferred it overall so it's not as boring. ᠃ ᠌acting 📽 casting 𓍢 :: The actor did a really good job once again! And the actress for Sara was nice to watch too. They were weird and unsettling in a subtle yet sure way. The movies name is creepy after all. [ ▶︎ ] extra ノ overall ranking ↻ Why did I get flashed not even half the movie in. Why did she immediately get naked for him. I get she was trying to do research, but why the fuck would she be so eager to do something he didn't even ask her to do. It's almost like SHE was head over heels for him. ★ · 🎟️ summary ⛶ Call me stupid but the kiss scene was cute. I don't know if she wanted it, but she requested it sooo. They seemed happy. I have no idea if what either of them felt or expressed was real. The whole movie is just so weird.

𓏴 ࣪ story & plot 🎬 ⠀⠀ Is there a real story? I don't know. It was pretty weird. I mean we were just sent into the story with someone filming. It was explained from the beginning, don't get me wrong. But is Joseph mentally ill? Is he really sick? Is he just acting? Or is he just a psychopath? Maybe multiple things? I am unsure. It wasn't really shocking that he was the killer, so no surprises other than the confusion with the sister-wife thing. ♰⠀ 𓈒 ⠀ cinematography & visuals ✙ Looks like a classic POV tape horror movie but a little less straining and annoying. It was published in 2014 and for that time the quality is okay. You're able to see what you have to see and you feel immersed like you're walking through the forest with Joseph. ( 🍿 ) —— sounds & music I don't really remember there being that many sounds and music so I guess it isn't really that much? Most scenes were quiet and empty. Sometimes it was really boring, but sometimes it also made the situation feel more real because it makes sense. If you film, there is no music after all. It's just a bit bland sometimes. ࣪ ۫𓂅 directing & pacing . ⟢ I feel so bad for saying this, because maybe this type of movie/genre just isn't for me. But the movie feels so slow and bland. Like unseasoned chicken. Sometimes you just wait, and it's quiet. And it's not even horror tension. It's just boredom and there's five minutes we're nothing new happens and you're stuck. I had to let it run in the background or I would've been too bored. ᠃ ᠌acting 📽 casting 𓍢 :: I really like Joseph's actor. He seems to be doing a good job! You can't really tell what's going on with him. I mean you can tell he's an absolute weirdo but he's SUPPOSED to be like that. You just can't tell if he wants to hide being a weirdo or if he's doing it on purpose. Only 2 and a half people who need acting really, so not much to say. [ ▶︎ ] extra ノ overall ranking ↻ What is going on between the main character and Joseph. Is that tension supposed to be there? Is he supposed to seem gay for him? Joseph seems psychotically interested, but maybe that's just me being stupid. ★ · 🎟️ summary ⛶ Only watched this because my online best friend loves this movie so much and told me to watch it. It wasn't a bad movie! Just a bit boring. I'm gonna watch the second one though and see if it's better

𓏴 ࣪ story & plot 🎬 ⠀⠀ The typical occult movie with a bit less supernatural stuff. A lot of cliches, but put together they're pretty good. I wish it would have a happy ending instead of this one, because it leaves me so angry and unsatisfied. The plot with Ollie and him taking in other people's voices was so nice. ♰⠀ 𓈒 ⠀ cinematography & visuals ✙ They did really good with the body horror. It was so realistic and bloody and disgusting. Perfect. Did it make me wanna throw up? Yes. Did I look away? Yes. But it was so well made. If it makes me want to look away, it means something. The table eating scene was actually fascinating. Ollie eating his own flesh was so chilling. ( 🍿 ) —— sounds & music The sound tracks are really nice to listen to. Especially the one at the end with the pool scene. Sounds so sad and scary. ࣪ ۫𓂅 directing & pacing . ⟢ The team did a really good job. I was really really confused at some parts of the story, but I think maybe that was for the better. Because at the end all puzzle pieces connected and I understood each flashback. ᠃ ᠌acting 📽 casting 𓍢 :: I honestly expected bad acting cause that's the case for most horror movies. At least one actor does a bad job. But in this one all actors were so good at their job. The woman actually did her job so well that I hated her guts and wanted to choke her through the screen. If an actress can make you hate her charactersp so utterly, you know she did well. [ ▶︎ ] extra ノ overall ranking ↻ I know my ranking isn't high, but I did really think the movie is good. I just wouldn't be able to watch it again because it has such deep impact and is actually pretty heavy with the gore. Huge credit to the actors tho. ★ · 🎟️ summary ⛶ This movie is unrealistic in some aspects of course. The demon is a little much. But it actually shows pretty well how far motherly love can go and how much psychosis and mental health can harm you when you lost someone close. How quick you can lose trust in your loved ones and trust the wrong person.

𓏴 ࣪ story & plot 🎬 ⠀⠀ Fucking hell how do I start this. I know this movie is based off of a real case. I know stuff like this happens every day to so many people, especially young girls. Is that tragic? Yes. Should it be talked about? Yes. Should victims be able to talk about it? Yes. But making a movie about it that feels like nothing but a complete fetish? Fuck no. There's so many better movies based off of real life cases and they didn't fetishize it and made you feel guilty and immersed and had you think about your actions. This felt like a PSA about 'don't trust people on the internet' that your parents would show you when you're young. ♰⠀ 𓈒 ⠀ cinematography & visuals ✙ Typical found footage. Saw a lot of people complain about it, but if it's about found footage, expect found footage quality. The only really shocking visuals that made it feel like horror were the two images and the barrel scene. ( 🍿 ) —— sounds & music Not impressed at all. Wasn't immersive, no cool scary shivers down your spine feeling. Nothing. ࣪ ۫𓂅 directing & pacing . ⟢ For fucks sake it was so boring. Stories about real life cases are supposed to drag you 8n so you listen and so that the victim gets attention. Not even half time into the movie it really started. 50 minutes of the movie felt like the intro. I had to basically listen to it like a podcast. And the end Jesus.. we did not need to see every crumb of dirt being spread. ᠃ ᠌acting 📽 casting 𓍢 :: They could've done something with the acting. Making it seem like it actually was found footage. But no one acts like that. No kid talks like that. I don't even want to blame the actors because the director is probably at fault. The only good acting was unfortunately the rape scene. I hated it with my guts, but her acting actually showed what it's like for so many victims. Slowly giving up. Being drained. [ ▶︎ ] extra ノ overall ranking ↻ If you have to wait for more than half of the movie for it to actually start, stop and trash the movie. I only watched this because it got attention online and I wanted to see what it was all about. They were right. It was shitty. Either the director is some messed up creep or someone else in the direction team is a pedophile. This made me feel nothing but disgust. I bet old men get off of this. Why is more than 40 percent of the movie about not even teenage girls being raped and drugged what the fuck. ★ · 🎟️ summary ⛶ Yea no I'm not doing this again.
