The Invite

Honestly after watching the trailer I thought this was gonna be a bit boring and not my kinda thing. But this beat my expectations by miles. 4 actors in the whole film, basically filmed in one apartment. And yet you don’t get bored with the location and every single one of the actors does an amazing performance.  It’s awkward when it needs to be it’s somehow consistently hilarious throughout and also dramatic af. The camera work is amazing and focuses on the right parts when needed.  Just an absolutely solid film throughout. Haven’t seen a good dark comedy in a while, let alone any comedy tbh. Great experience.
