Se7en

Se7en is so dark I kept checking if my brightness was all the way up. And not just visually, emotionally too. It’s two hours of rain, murder, and moral decay, with Brad Pitt yelling, Morgan Freeman looking tired, and Kevin Spacey playing a relentless psycho with such ease it’s… well, let’s just say a little too believable. In hindsight, it kind of feels like Spacey was just method acting his entire career. Grim, gripping, and maybe a bit too proud of how miserable it makes you feel. But hey, it’s a classic for a reason.
