Silence
*“The walls of the churches have fallen down.”

This movie may be the most powerful film of all time.
It’s rooted in selfishness, cruelty, and despair—but also love. It’s not a black-and-white good vs. evil story; it’s about perspective.> I don’t have much to add from my first review, but this is a movie every single person should watch, religious or not.> My favorite part of the film is Andrew Garfield’s inner thoughts that are played throughout. The questions being asked are soul-crushing.> Another standout is his time in prison. His arc of apostatizing hurts like nothing else. Watching his soul get worn down and seeing him finally break in the end—man, it’s awful.> This movie will cut you to your core, and it will leave you wondering if it’s all really worth it in the end.Can you really hear God through the silence of man?
