Superbad

Why did they stop making comedies like this? It’s not quite lowbrow but it’s also not too dramatic. It’s so funny but it doesn’t sacrifice it’s story or emotion to do so. It can take itself seriously when it wants to and it’s just genuinely hilarious; it all flows so well. There are some genuinely sweet moments too, and this movie really gets you to care about the characters even in their worst. It’s a wild, and hilarious ride, and I’m all for it. 4.3/5 (86%)
