Wanted

I was really reluctant to keep watching this film, especially through the first half an hour, although I’m glad I finished it. It is really ambitious which gives it so much more character than other 2000’s action films and it’s a shame some of the CGI didn’t support the vision. In particular the scene where that guy breaks through the glass. Probably just a simulation problem. It’s hard to say without seeing the raw footage but the way it moulded to his face really didn’t work. Aside from that though it was pretty solid for 2008. Some genuinely interesting ideas which I think is rare for a film of its genre and in general just a really well paced and slick story.
