Hamnet
i've been such a big fan of jessie buckley since i watched her in BBC's War & Peace adaptation (highly recommend) and i loved getting to see her carry this film
yes i cried a lot but i don't think it was manipulative as some people have accused, it felt real and raw and stunning
major shout out to jacobi jupe because he plays hamnet so fully realized and full of life and emotion! what a great performer, i can't wait to watch his career
and i have to point out that at the very end of the movie when the credits were rolling (and i was crying loudly) this older woman in the row behind me leaned over and said "it's so nice to see someone so effected by a movie" lfjkdasfjk glad to be of service
